For sale is my rust free 1977 CJ 5 (CJ5 is Boxier/Shorter than CJ 7) 4X4 that I purchase about 5 years ago in Colorado. Custom built with a 1980 boxed frame (I was told this frame is the strongest of Jeep models). Original rebuilt 304 V-8 Big Block. The gentleman I bought it from invested over $12000. He rebuilt this Jeep to take to Moab to off-road but fell short of doing so. They entire Jeep is Rhino lined, inside and out. I was told the Grille, Mirror Arms & Dash are original?? (They are Copper). Since I have owned it, it has been garage kept and used for weekend cruises. Everyone who sees it absolutely loves the look. I have only put around 3000 miles on it since purchase and have invested around another $3000. I have too many toys (Chevelle, Bronco, motorcycle) so something has to go.
The following is a list of its features:
* Rebuilt original 304 V8, rebuilt 3 spd T-150, Dana 20 T-Case (resealed), 4.56 Gears, Bilstein steering stabilizer, 2 electric fans, Edelbrock 600 cfm, Torquer, Newer disk brakes/lines, Rancho 9000 7-way Adjustable Shocks, Rancho Springs, Warner Locking Hubs 4WD, Painless Wiring Harness, Autometer Prolite, Super Comp Tach, Replaced windshield, Brand new starter, Newer Heavy Duty Radiator, Newer water pump, Newer Tiger Top soft-top and Doors, Power Master 130 Amp Alt, CB, CD player, New side marker lenses, Tera-flex Revolver Shackles, True Dual Exhaust A-Pipe (sounds awesome), Newer Poly Bushing throughout, Newer oil pan gasket, New rear main seal gasket, Newer OE mirrors, Tilt Wheel, Custom Rear Mount Hi-Lift Jack, New speedo cable, HEI conversion Electronic Ignition, 8.8 Race wires, Bocsh platnum II plugs, electric fuel pump, Skid Plate (T-Case & gas tank), New Stage 1 Center Force Clutch, 33X12.5 Cooper Tires, original leather rear seat, 195 Degrees Thermostat/180 Acceptable, Engine oil 10W-30, T-Case 80-90, Trans 15-50.
My price is firm. This is a great little vehicle that won't break your bank. This Jeep is located just north of Chicago and is for sale locally also. Buyer must pick up or arrange or transport. If interested or you have questions please call Pat at (970)689-9183.
