Description

Restored 1958 Willys Jeep CJ5 up for sale in honolulu. I am moving to the mainland in 12 days. I cannot take the Jeep with me. I have invested $25,000 into this restoration. I am relisting due to lack of a sale. I have reduced the buy it now price to $10,000. This is your chance to own a piece of history. Great looking and running CJ5.

Original marker lights
New Goodyear Wrangler Radial tires with less than 100 miles on them

New turn signal switch
New emergency brake (attached to disc brake kit)
Rebuilt steering box
New mirrors
New bumpers (front and rear)
Rhino lined interior and undercoating
Less than 100 miles on the rebuilt engine
The Bad:
-small engine oil leak (common on these old jeeps, even when new)
-1 inch lean to drivers side (common issue when new from the factory, easily remedied with a wooden or metal block lift on the spring on drivers side)
-Overheats, either needs a new water pump or there is a blockage in the radiator or hoses. Since it is a new water pump professionally installed with the engine rebuild, I am leaning towards a blockage. Unfortunately, all my tools were shipped to the mainland for my move so I do not have the ability to diagnose or fix.
-windshield wipers are installed but not wired
-engine oil pressure gauge is installed but not wired up
